We’re excited to share something new just for our senior neighbors!
Beginning Friday, March 6, Community Table will open one hour early every Friday at 11:00 a.m. for shoppers age 65 and older.
This special shopping hour offers a calmer, less crowded pantry experience—so you can take your time, ask questions, and comfortably choose foods that fit your health needs and preferences.
What to Expect During Senior Shopping Hour
• Every Friday, starting March 6
• Arrive at 10:30 a.m. for the random drawing that determines shopping order*
• Senior shopping begins at 11:00 a.m.
• Friendly, knowledgeable staff and volunteers ready to help while you shop
• Well-stocked shelves with fresh produce, dairy, meat, and pantry staples, including low-sodium and heart-healthy options
• Please bring your photo ID, as usual, so that we can confirm eligibility and age
This new shopping hour is one more way we’re making Community Table easier and more enjoyable to navigate—especially for seniors who may appreciate extra time and support while shopping.
We’re thrilled to offer this new option and look forward to welcoming our senior neighbors every Friday!
* New to Community Table?
We use a random drawing to determine the shopping order. Please arrive at 10:30 a.m. to draw a number for your place in line. Bring your Link2Feed card (if you have one), a photo ID, and a piece of mail dated within the last 30 days with your name and address. Don’t have a Link2Feed card yet? No problem—our friendly staff and volunteers are happy to help you get started!
Just a reminder: The early Friday shopping hour is only for our neighbors 65+. If you are under 65, we look forward to seeing you for the 11:30 a.m. drawing, with shopping starting at 12:00 p.m.
