We provide hunger relief services to families and individuals in many ways, and since we’re part of the Link2Feed network, getting the food you need is easier than ever.

Client Choice Food Pantry

You must live on the west side of 1-25 and provide Proof of Address at every visit to shop.

Appointments are not required to shop in our pantry

To shop, please arrive during the pantry hours listed below and bring your ID, Link2Feed card (if you have one), proof of your address, and shopping bags.

When you shop in our Client Choice Pantry, you can choose the foods your family wants and needs, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, frozen food, dairy products, canned goods, bread, personal care items, pet food and more.

Emergency Food Bags for Unhoused People

If you’re unhoused, you can visit our lobby to pick up an Emergency Food Bag during pantry shopping hours:

Tuesday and Friday: 12:00 to 3:45 p.m.

Wednesday: 12:00 to 5:45 p.m.

Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

These to-go bags include a one- to two-day supply of food, fresh fruits and vegetables, and personal care items.

Emergency food bags are a quick and easy way to get the ready-to-eat food you need.

Please, one bag per unsheltered person per day.

Pantry Shopping Hours:

Tuesday and Friday: 12:00 to 3:45 p.m.

Wednesday: 12:00 to 5:45 p.m.

Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

We partner with Food Bank of the Rockies and the USDA to provide additional food to families and individuals. To receive TEFAP food, you must meet eligibility and income guidelines. TEFAP is ONLY available for pickup from our Client Choice Food Pantry. To learn more and see if you qualify, please visit our TEFAP Guidelines page.

Everyday Eats (CSFP - Commodity Supplemental Food Program)

We partner with Food Bank of the Rockies and the USDA to provide additional food assistance to adults ages 60+. We distribute Everyday Eats food boxes in our parking lot on the third Wednesday of each month between 9:00 and 11:00 am. You must meet income and other eligibility guidelines to participate.

Mobile Pantry

Mobile Pantry brings food to under-served communities, including seniors and disabled adults at low-income housing complexes, homeless students at community college campuses, families living in “weekly” motels, seasonal farmworkers at mobile home parks and more. Home Delivery

If you have mobility issues that prevent you from shopping in our pantry, you can sign up to have food boxes delivered to your home once a month. The service is free, and you can cancel at any time. The hand-packed boxes vary monthly and include fresh produce, protein, dairy products, canned goods, bread and personal care items. 

To be eligible for home delivery, you must live within a 10-mile radius of Community Table. On occasion, we may have a waitlist for service.

 

Feeding the Future

Provides hungry schoolchildren and homeless teens with snacks, ready-to-eat meals and weekend food to help ensure that all students are well-nourished and ready to learn. Community Table offers many assistance programs to help you and your family. Whether you need help with housing expenses, public benefits applications, homelessness or healthcare, we provide compassionate and friendly one-on-one help.

Financial Assistance

We may be able to provide financial assistance to help with your family’s basic needs. If you need help with rent, water bills, sewer bills, deposits or other expenses, the first step is to speak with an assistance program team member. Please use the link below to schedule a phone meeting.

Due to limited resources, we only provide financial assistance to Arvada, Wheat Ridge and Westminster residents. To qualify for aid, you must be a current client and have shopped in the pantry in the past six months.

Utility Bill Assistance

Utility assistance funded by Energy Outreach Colorado.

To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. You must be a current client of Community Table.
  2. You must live west of I-25.
  3. You must live at the address you are requesting assistance for.
  4. The Xcel bill must be in your name.

Public Benefits Application Assistance

Public benefits help fill in the gaps by providing extra income and support for you and your family. We can help you complete applications for SNAP (food stamps), healthcare, veterans’ benefits, disability support, renewal paperwork and more. We also partner with Jefferson County Human Services to assist with complex applications. Please check our event calendar for dates and times.

Child Waiting Area

We provide a play area where we watch your children so you can shop in the pantry and access other needed assistance. Our supervised children’s play area is open:

– Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 12:00 – 3:30 pm

– Thursday: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm

Please do not leave children unattended in the play area when supervised care is unavailable.

Homelessness Support

If you are experiencing homelessness, we can help connect you to services and resources. We also partner with local organizations to provide shower and laundry facilities, cold weather shelters and health and well-being services.

Job Training and Support

You can learn how to build skills for a better career through our partnerships with local agencies. For free. Then get hired! Learn more and speak to representatives in our lobby on select dates throughout the year. 

 

GED Tutoring and Test Preparation

New beginnings start here!

It’s never too late to take the next step in your life. At Community Table, we’re here to help you earn your GED and open the door to new opportunities—whether it’s for a better job, higher education, or personal growth.

Our free GED Tutoring and Test Preparation Program offers:

• One-on-one tutoring with supportive volunteer instructors
• Study materials and a quiet study site
• Help with reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
• Access to computers and other learning tools
• Financial assistance to cover GED testing fees
• $100 gift card when you earn your GED

Earning a GED is more than a diploma—it’s a chance to build confidence, achieve independence, and pursue your goals. GED graduates often qualify for better job opportunities, higher wages, and acceptance to most colleges and trade schools.

Shower and Laundry Services

LAUNDRY SERVICES: We’ve partnered with ServiceSource (formerly Bayaud Enterprises) to provide FREE laundry services in our parking lot on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. The last load of laundry is taken at 1:00 p.m. The laundry truck provides a safe and private environment to wash your clothes and includes detergent, bleach, and dryer sheets.

We’re cooking up something new at Community Table!

While our current cooking demos and classes, offered in partnership with Cooking Matters, are coming to an end, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re creating our own cooking and nutrition programs—designed just for you.

These new classes will be tailored to reflect our community’s tastes, needs, and budgets, making them more useful (and delicious!) than ever.
