Your support turns extra food into lifesaving meals.
Every day, perfectly good food is at risk of being thrown away.
Fresh produce. Dairy. Bread. Nutritious food that families need—yet might never reach a table without someone stepping in.
That’s where you come in. Behind every rescued meal is a journey—and you make it possible.
How You Keep Food Moving
Because of your support, Community Table can work alongside partners like Food Bank of the Rockies and local grocery retailers to rescue food that would otherwise go to waste—and turn it into meals for families across our community.
Every week, Community Table sends out its trucks and vans to pick up food from grocery stores, farms, and community partners across our region. These vehicles are essential to safely transporting fresh, perishable food that might otherwise be lost.
Keeping food moving takes more than vehicles. It takes fuel. Maintenance. Insurance. Coordination. And most importantly, it takes people.
That’s where our incredible volunteers come in. Because of you, volunteers show up day after day to:
Drive routes and pick up donated food
Sort through donations with care and attention
Stock shelves so families can shop with dignity
They are the hands and heart behind every pound of food we rescue.
When you give, you’re helping cover the real costs of rescuing food—and powering the people who make it all happen.
In just the past year, we’ve rescued nearly 1.5 million pounds of food and redirected it across our community—reducing waste, lowering environmental impact, and most importantly, feeding people.
And right now, that work matters more than ever.
Since moving to our new facility, hundreds of new households have turned to Community Table for help. Demand continues to rise—and rescued food helps us keep shelves stocked while stretching every dollar you give.
When you give, you’re not just providing food. You’re ensuring that good food doesn’t go to waste—and that it reaches the people who need it most.
