Stamp Out Hunger Returns – Volunteers Needed

This vital one-day food drive provides the food we need to feed hungry families during the busy summer months.

Mark your calendar!
After being canceled for the past two years due to the pandemic, the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Fill a bag. Feed a family.
Watch for your blue bag (or use any bag) to arrive in the mail and leave your food donation by your mailbox by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14. Our volunteers or your letter carrier will pick it up and deliver it to Community Table. What you give stays in our community. Our goal is to collect 100,000 pounds of food in one day!

We Need Volunteers!
To make Stamp Out Hunger a success, we need more than 150 volunteers to help us collect, sort and pack food at three locations in Arvada and Wheat Ridge.

We need volunteer DRIVERS, JUMPERS, and SORTERS. Volunteer shifts are two to three hours long. Most positions require standing, and some require lifting. Drivers need to work in teams and use their own vehicles, preferably trucks, vans or SUVs. We also need teams of younger volunteers to stack, wrap, and move food pallets at each location. This is a fun way to help your community, meet others and team build with your employees, service organization or youth group.
