At Community Table, we take the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff seriously and we are taking additional precautions to keep our facility, food and people safe from infectious diseases.
We have added hand sanitizing dispensers in six locations around our facility. We are wiping down shared surfaces and grocery carts after each use. We have posted signs at the entrances and throughout our building asking people who are exhibiting signs of illness to go home and not return until they are no longer sick. We have posted signs in restrooms and other locations asking people to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Community Table has always used strict food handling and safety guidelines. Our goal in taking these additional safety precautions is to ensure that our facility remains open and operational so members of our community who are in need will continue to have access to food.
Community Table reserves the right to close its facility if necessary. We are closely monitoring developments and information from the Center for Disease Control and the Colorado and Jefferson County Departments of Public Health and Environment. If it becomes necessary to close our facility, the closure will be listed on our website, telephone messaging and social media.
