Schedule Your Colorado Gives Donation Today!
Cutting back on food is a difficult but often necessary choice for families struggling to make ends meet. Especially when you consider the impact of not having enough to eat. Hungry children don’t do well in school. Hungry adults may not be able to hold a job and not having enough to eat affects the ability of seniors to maintain their health and manage an illness.
When you support Community Table on Colorado Gives Day you can help put an end to families having to decide between buying food and paying other expenses and you can help stabilize families and give them the resources they need to be self-reliant.
For every $1 we receive, we can provide 3 nutritious meals for children, adults and seniors in our community who don’t have enough to eat.
Mark your calendar to donate to Community Table on Colorado Gives Day. Don’t want to wait until December 10? You can schedule your donation today by clicking the DONATE NOW button below and using the “Co Gives Day” option under donation frequency to schedule your donation to be counted and process on Colorado Gives Day.

We have a “4-Star” rating on Charity Navigator, a “Platinum Seal of Transparency” on GuideStar and we are a Better Business Bureau “Accredited Charity”, which means you can trust that your donation will be used to help those in need in your community.
Colorado Gives Day, which began in 2010 to increase online giving, has raised more than $217 million for Colorado nonprofits. This year, Colorado Gives Day features a $1 million incentive fund. For every donation Community Table receives on Colorado Gives Day, we will receive a portion of the incentive fund!

It’s official! At their September 16 meeting, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Arvada proclaimed that September 2019 be designated as Hunger Action Month.
Hunger Action Month is a nationwide awareness campaign in connection with Feeding America encouraging people to take action against hunger all month long by donating food and money to local food banks, volunteering their time to fight hunger and by spreading the word and educating others about the issue of hunger.
What will you do to take action against hunger? Here are a few ways you can help: Buy a cupcake, volunteer, go for a run, make a donation or attend a car show.
Throughout the month of September, every time you buy one of the featured cupcakes, Rheinlander Bakery in Olde Town Arvada will donate $1 to our Feeding the Future program!
The Five Cupcakes Feeding the Future are Mimosa, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Pumpkin Spice, S’Mores and Oreo Crush.
Rheinlander Bakery is also accepting donations. When you give $5 to help fight hunger, you’ll receive an orange Feeding the Future wristband to show your support. The color orange represents hunger. In Jefferson County, 1 in 6 children lives in a family that struggles with hunger.
